I cannot tell you how magical this forest is, honestly this photo doesn't do it justice, the sunset was an intense orange fireball, I've never ever seen it like that EVER! Deep in the Tararua Range, NZ, this was well worth the 6 hour tramp out with a cracked rib and a pack on my back - who said photography isn't dangerous!
