Photographer's comments:

Masked Tree Frogs inhabit the tropical rain forest in the caribbean side of Costa Rica. They are active during the night, particularly during the rainy season when the males call to attract mates. I used fill flash with diffuser at a macro distance to achieve the black background look and to saturate the colors of both the frog and the moss.
