Photographer's comments:

"I had known this place for a long time and had already tried to capture someone passing by, at the precise moment when they aligned with the end of that confluence. The difficulty was timing it so that no cars were passing between me and the other side of the street and that it was just one person walking by... all this with the camera almost at ground level. I don't usually photograph in 'Burst' mode, only in S (single) mode, which makes it even more difficult. I don't usually check the photographs on the spot, only when I get home and download them to the computer. As you can imagine, I was incredibly satisfied when I saw this photograph, with the person in the exact spot."
