"Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve is the first unfenced nature conservation reserve with trees and lakes that are home to hundreds of migratory birds in the United Arab Emirates. It is located in the desert area of Saih Al Salam in the emirate of Dubai and comprises some 10% of the total land area of the Emirate, including the extensive man-made desert wetlands, Al Qudra Lakes.

This is my favorite place for bird photography. However, I always reach this place before sunrise with an expectation to view some clouds (which are extremely rare in UAE) for landscape photography. I was lucky to witness a beautiful sunrise with magical clouds and ended up taking this image.

I would like to mention that I had been using the Tokina wide angle lens for many years and is one of my very favorite glass for Landscape photography. The latest atx-i version is even more better in terms of build quality and performance."
