My name is Wim van de Water and I live in the Netherlands.
In 2014 I bought my first digital SLR camera and after a while, I wanted to do more with my camera. I decided to do a night photography workshop. This Did not only teach me more about that aspect of photography, but that was also the night that I switched off of the automatic mode and started shooting in RAW format. I educated myself in the editing programs and started developing my shots myself. My addiction for photography had begun.
Not long after I also came into contact with Urban Exploring. Visiting and photographing abandoned buildings or not publicly accessible locations. In recent years I have visited dozens of these locations in Belgium, Germany, France, Poland and Italy. From old industrial sites to churches and from castles to small houses. The one more run down than the other, but each location has its own charm.
