Ryosuke Takahashi

Ryosuke Takahashi was born in 1960 in the Aichi prefecture.

He became a photographer through working in an advertising photography studio and a publishing company. He also has a personal career as economic magazine reporter, thus contributing with his distinctive point of view to camera magazines, and producing many works.

In 1989 he established his own office. He then took part in the visual production of both domestic and foreign advertisements and magazines, being active in a wild range of fields, from studio work to location shooting.

He further expanded his activities from advertising to the editorial field, as he contributed to several camera magazines with technical articles about those shooting methods and techniques he cultivated and acquired over the years.

As a photographer, he visited and shot numerous Asian countries, including Japan, and European countries, as well as all the Latin countries, from Central America to the Mediterranean Sea.

Author of numerous books, together with the active presentation of his works on various media, he also held numerous exhibitions, both solo and in group. Some of his photographic works are used by the Swiss Tourism Bureau, as well as by those of all other countries.

He is currently member of the Japan Professional Photography Society (JPS).
